The Sailing Exhibit at the San Diego Sports Museum

The San Diego Hall of Champions Sports Museum houses a sailing exhibition thanks to 1992 America’s Cup winner Bill Koch of Wichita, Kansas. San Diego hosted the America’s Cup in 1988 after hometown hero Dennis Connor won the cup in Australia. San Diego is the home of North Sails, the largest sailmaker in the world.
